Welcome to Aquitaz Trade In
Through Aquitaz Trade In, you can exchange collectible cards for store credit with Aquitaz. Here, we explain how the process works, how valuation is performed, and the terms and conditions that apply when you send cards to us.
How it works
1. Submit your request Fill out the form and attach clear images, as well as accurate information about the cards' condition, language, edition, and other relevant details.
2. Preliminary valuation We will review your request and provide a preliminary valuation based on condition, current market value, demand, and our current purchasing needs.
3. Accept the valuation If you accept the preliminary valuation, you will receive instructions on how to send the cards to Aquitaz for physical inspection.
4. Inspection and verification Once the cards are received, we will check their condition, authenticity, language, edition, and verify that the information matches what was submitted in the form.
5. Final valuation After inspection, Aquitaz will determine the final valuation. If anything deviates from the information provided, the valuation may be adjusted.
6. Store credit Once you have accepted the final valuation, store credit will be issued with Aquitaz according to the agreed valuation.
Frequently asked questions
How is the value calculated? The valuation is based on factors such as the card's condition, current market value, demand, language, edition, rarity, and Aquitaz's current purchasing needs.
Is the preliminary valuation binding? No. All valuations provided before physical inspection are preliminary and do not constitute a binding offer.
Can the value change after inspection? Yes. If the condition, authenticity, language, edition, quantity, or other relevant information deviates from what was stated, the valuation may be adjusted.
Do you buy graded cards? Yes. We accept PSA, CGC, and BGS, among others. Graded cards are also inspected and valued based on current demand, market value, and the condition of the slab.
Do you buy entire collections? Yes. We accept both single cards and larger collections. For larger collections, the valuation may take longer.
How do I receive compensation? Approved Trade In cases are normally compensated with store credit at Aquitaz, unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon in writing.
What happens if I don't accept the final valuation? If you do not accept the final valuation, the cards can be returned. Any costs for return shipping will be communicated before the return is carried out.
Terms and Conditions
Preliminary valuations All valuations provided before physical inspection of the cards are preliminary and do not constitute a binding offer. Aquitaz is not obligated to carry out a Trade In based on a preliminary valuation.
Final valuation The final valuation is determined only after the cards have been received and inspected by Aquitaz. The Trade In transaction is considered complete only when the customer has accepted the final valuation and Aquitaz has issued the store credit.
Card inspection All cards are inspected upon receipt. Aquitaz reserves the right to adjust the valuation if the cards' condition, authenticity, language, edition, quantity, or other details deviate from the information provided at submission.
Condition assessment All condition assessments are performed exclusively by Aquitaz. The customer's own condition assessments, descriptions, and submitted images are used only for preliminary valuation and do not guarantee the final valuation. Minor defects such as scratches, whitening, edge wear, surface wear, dents, misprints, centering deviations, and other damage may affect the final valuation. Aquitaz reserves the right to determine the final condition of all submitted products.
Authenticity Aquitaz only accepts genuine products. Counterfeit, modified, or otherwise inauthentic products are not accepted. If Aquitaz suspects that a submitted product is counterfeit, modified, or otherwise not genuine, we reserve the right to refuse the Trade In request.
Incorrect or incomplete information Aquitaz reserves the right to cancel or refuse a Trade In if the submitted information is deemed to be incorrect, misleading, or incomplete. This applies to, among other things, incorrectly stated condition, wrong language, wrong edition, wrong card, wrong quantity, or other information that affects the valuation.
Market changes Market prices for collectible cards can change. Valuations may therefore be adjusted between submission and final inspection. The valuation is based on market conditions at the time of final inspection, not at the time of the preliminary valuation.
Store credit Approved Trade In cases are normally compensated with store credit at Aquitaz. Store credit can only be used for purchases at Aquitaz and cannot be redeemed for cash, unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Returns If the customer does not accept the final valuation, the cards can be returned. Any costs for return shipping will be communicated before the return is carried out. Aquitaz is not responsible for changes in value that may occur between submission, inspection, and any return.
Packaging and transport The customer is responsible for securely packaging the cards for transport to Aquitaz. Aquitaz is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays that occur during transport to our warehouse. We recommend that the customer uses traceable shipping and packs the cards in a way that protects against bending, moisture, pressure, and external damage.
Ownership By submitting cards, the customer certifies that they are the rightful owner of the products and have the right to transfer them. Aquitaz reserves the right to refuse products where ownership appears unclear.
Abandoned shipments If the customer does not respond to communication regarding their Trade In case within 90 days, Aquitaz reserves the right to close the case and handle the products in accordance with applicable legislation.
Right to refuse Trade In Aquitaz reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reject a Trade In request at any time without obligation to complete the transaction.
